Psalm 139: 13-16 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;your works are wonderful. I know that full well" "My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth." "Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Triumph Through Trials

Author:  Sheri Rose Shepherd

I see you when you are in the garden of grief.  My Princess.  I hear your cry for help in the dard hours of the night.  I myself cried out in the garden the night I was betrayed.  In my suffering I asked My Father for another way---a less painful way.  Yet I trusted His will and purpose for My life and knew the untimate victory was at the cross.  Just as olives must be crushed to make oil, I poured out My life as a love offering for you.  Don't ever doubt that I am with you and that I long to take you to a place of comfort, peace, and victory. even when you cannot see me from where you are,  I am working on your behalf. Give to Me the crushing weight of your circumstances, and come to Me in prayer.  When it is time to leave the garden, I will walk with you across the valley and straight to the cross---where your trials will be transformed into triumph.

Love,
Your Savior and your Victor

Just some thoughts

When we begin to grasp the extent of God's mercy toward us, we see what true love is and how deeply God loves us.  Although, our sins deserve severe judgment, God has chosen to show love and mercy to all who seek him.

Psalm 63: 7 " Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings."  How cool is that!

Because god has already declared how valuable I am, I am set free from feelings of worthlessness.  We are never worthless to God.  We have great worth because we bear the stamp of the creator.

Humility means proper respect for God, not self depreciation.   I don't know about you but I need to remember these truths over and over again.

Love in Christ our Holy  and  Awesome Savior

My Princess

I see how hard you try to handle your heart, and I know you want to live a live without heartache or pain.
I'm asking you to take a step closer to your Father in heaven by crying out to Me when you hurt.
Let Me heal you.  Remember My chosen, King David?  He cried out to Me in his fears, disappointments, and sin, and I answered.  You are also My chosen one, and you are My daughter....so it's ok to cry.
I don't expect you to pretend that pain is not real.  It is truth and tears that will give you freedom that I want you to know.  Now let go of that part of your heart that only I can heal.  Let your heavenly Daddy hold you while you cry.

Love,
Your King who wipes away your tears.   Psalm 126: 5
"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy"

Innocence

I am sharing a poem I wrote a few days ago.  I am going through a journey of recovery.  The Lord gave me this poem.  I am not a poet.  And will admit this probably needs some help.  However, it is from my heart.

Innocence

She loved Cocoons’ and butterflies
Pussy Willows, fire flies
She loved bull frogs and lily pads
Rainbows and clouds in the sky
But daddy made her cry
He took her innocence
He made her cry
She loved thunder and lightening
But daddy was frightening
He took her innocence
He made her cry
She loved Lilacs
Jumping rope and playing jacks
But daddy made her cry
She became Me
I love Cocoons and butterflies
Rainbows and clouds in the sky
I love thunder and lightening
But no longer frightened
Now Heavenly daddy
Brushes His finger across my cheek
Gently He wipes my tears
My child He speaks
Do not be frightened
Gently He wipes my tears
I love Heavenly daddy
He doesn’t make me cry
He brushes his finger across my cheek
Hush hush now my child he speaks
Gently He wipes my tears
